How did we solve it?

Campaign setup:

  • Each influencer received a unique coupon code and was asked to promote the Essilor glasses on their Instagram profile, along with their assigned coupon codes. This allowed XIS to track the use of the coupons and analyze how many coupon validations came from each influencer.
  • In addition to the influencers, a separate coupon was shared with Essilor's customers via their website.

  • Validation process:

  • Users who wanted to redeem their coupons could validate their special discounts at 360 different locations. Each location or optician received its own validation code. This provided Essilor with insights into how many coupons were redeemed per location or optician.


  • Promotion on Instagram:

  • The Dutch influencers involved in the campaign promoted the Eyezen glasses and the Essilor brand through their Instagram stories or bio sections. They used the swipe-up feature on their Instagram stories to direct followers to the website.
  • The unique coupon codes ensured that each purchase was traceable. One of the goals of this Instagram promotion and influencer marketing campaign was to gather valuable information, such as the email addresses of engaged followers.
